"A concept album to it's core, JSL's debut EP "just." kicks things off with a track titled "Expect". Blending haunting piano stabs ALA "Eyes Wide Shut" with everything from synths to upright bass, it sets the tone for this unique release. Sticking with the "Ex" theme, tracks that follow are "Expert", "Expose" and finally, well, "Finale" which is a very dreamlike, bluesy tune that incorporates only what seems to be a very lo-fi acoustic guitar and a sample from Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. Memorable to say the least. While not a long playing release by far, "just." has it's main highlight in the track "Expose" that features Minneapolis emcee Oldboy aka Cue Dangerous and showcases this talented producers' possibilities."
