    sex change olympians

I haven't heard anything like this and it kinda surprises me.  How long til some seven foot dude with mad dunking skills gets a sex change and decides he'd like to be on a women's Olympic basketball team?  Imagine the mess that would cause.  Dude would be a total star simply because he'd be the tallest, strongest person on the floor for every game.  Almost every women's sport would be in trouble with guys pouring in from all over the place and taking roster spots from biological females.  How could you discriminate against them by keeping them from fulfilling their dreams?  Isn't the point of the Olympics to bring everyone together?

G.G, aside from the fact that you're making up a problem for the sake of... well, I don't really know how you even started thinking about this but two simple facts prevent your scenerio from becoming a problem.

1).  No self respecting male would ever play in the WNBA.

2).  Even if they did, nobody would ever watch it.  I mean, c'mon, it's the WNBA.

    That's total BS.

Lesbians all over the country watch the WNBA.

And what's that got to do with the Olympics?

    Then why do you care?

I was under the impression that for big team sports, you pretty much have to be a professional athlete in order to get to olympics.  I don't follow sports very closely (or at all actually) so I could totally be talking out of my ass.  My original comment was with plenty of tongue in cheek.  I couldn't possibly care less about female professional or non-professional sports.

I dunno.  I just think it'd be sweet to see something like that play out.

Why you gotta buzzkill my olympics?

Oh, and careful - I don't think the IOC ever gave you permission to use their word!

Nah...that's different.  I think ALL East German chicks have to shave their faces.

And they don't shave their armpits.

    Or maybe that's France...
