Mine was Hill Street Blues. I'm not kidding. I did get the first three seasons of 24 for Christmas a year or two ago. I made it through the first two. By the time 3 rolled around I was amazed at how stupid it had become. (Not that dude crashing the nuclear bomb into the desert in season 2 wasn't dumb, mind you.)
So.. season 6 is not disappointing me at all so far. Anyone have a take on how the (B) Locke is still crippled but (from his conversation about the wedding w/ Helen) cozy with the old man? The gf spotted that one and it's had me thinking ever since..
We can only assume that he lost the use of his legs through some other means, or that he forgave his dad afterwards.
Wow, I didn't catch that he was still cool with his dad. Hmmm...that does pose some interesting questions. It's neat how they're all running into each other randomly in the alternate reality....like it's their "destiny" to know each other. The only thing I kind of rolled my eyes at was the whole deal with Kate and Claire. No chance she'd get into that cab again with Kate after what happened. Zero. It didn't ruin anything for me, as the rest of the show has been super kickass this season, but that scenario just seemed unbelievable.

Unless, like everyone else, she's experiencing some sort of "i don't know why, but I think I should continue talking to this person or going this direction, etc. etc."
I keep going back to the conversation in the 5 finale between the man in black and Jacob. I think that entire conversation is what's going on this season....what Jacob referred to as "anything else is just progress". Fake Locke thinks he's gotten over the hump and killed Jacob, but there's a bigger picture and he's too short sighted. It's been awesome so far.
Tyler Dean:The Final Season of LOST as Seen by Someone Who Has Never Seen LOST
Saw that yesterday, I kinda think the author is in on the joke.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That last episode was pretty crazy. Sayed going nutso weirded me out bigtime.
I kind of stopped thinking about Whitmore for a while....as soon as I saw that sub I knew it was him though. My roommate came up with an interesting theory...it seems that anyone who "died" and somehow came back to life has the badness in them....Sayed, Clair (I'm assuming something happened to her where she died and came back to life).....what if Ben Linus got the same evilness in him from when he almost died as a kid??? I think ultimately, he's going to end up being good in the end.
Also, the chick that plays Alex has gotten really hot.
Agreed on Alex...though it might just be that she's no longer an unkempt jungle woman "other".
I think Ben is going to end up being a key part of saving the island/good folk. I think Fake Locke, in setting him free from the binders, unknowingly set him in motion to gain redemption and eventually have a hand in killing Fake Locke (however that can be done). I can see him sacrificing himself for everyone else. They made too big a deal of him coming back to the beach after the gun scene with Illana (who is smokin, by the way).
all these women with guns really does a number on my chauvinism.
'da f**k is dat? SH*T!'

She is only 22 years old. So, she was about 18 when she first appeared on the show....I figure she kind of grew into herself over that four years so that may describe the increase in hotness also. I also agree that lllana is a hottie.

I see Clair as more Rousseau-crazy than evil dead, but who knows?
It's not the heat, it's the stupidity

Hmmm...I was thinking maybe Rousseau's deal was the same, but obviously I could be totally wrong (and probably am). ;)
My only contribution is that Rousseau was scared of the smoke monster, Claire is buddy buddy with it. I still think Christian was the smoke monster when he led her off to the woods.

Correction: the body of Christian Shepherd (horrible character name for anything outside of a local church theatrical original, btw) was "infected" with what is now Locke v2.0.
And I'm just gonna go ahead and spill my cockamamie theory: Locke 2.0's real name is Esau.
