Ok.

So i saw a request for more review and this will not be my best one sonce i was paying more attention to my friends birthday deal I was pre occupied and a little toasty that night.

Opener: Ready Made Fire. These guys sounded decent, had that pop rock sound with a little southerness to it and the singer sounded a bit like incubus. This band was pretty chill on stage. in fact, I dont recall the singer ever letting go of his drink. I liked them and I will check them out sometime this week via myspace or whatever.

Middle: The Phoenix Philosophy- I reviewed them before and not much was different, but their singer stage dove into the crowd and was caught by some random UFC looking guys. a thumbs up and a non cracked skull, good job guy!

Headliner: Escape siren: They had whole dance pop rock thing going on which i am a bit of a sucker for (i like to dance :)). their songs were catchy and they also got pretty heavy at times. for being a younger band i thought they were pretty tight, and their breakdowns were pretty sweet. Plus their guitarist had a bomb misfits shirt on i was jealous of.

I guess the thing i really want to review is the fact that I have been consistently hearing good bands there and I have yet to see it dead in that place since i have been going. it reminds me of the old say of the urban wildlife where people would stay for entire shows and not for their friends band. the same people are constantly coming back and alot of bands show up there to and support. its really a cool thing going on, and i hope it continues.

I am going to review a show there on 3/6 with Vaudeville, so i hope this holds you over since I will be out of the state most weekends this month...

You only get five points for making a post, unless it's in the politics forum (you get zero there). You get more points if people reply to your post. See how you have 21 points there now that I replied to it?

You don't say where "there" is.

It's not the heat, it's the stupidity
