Found this site today. I can't grow a beard to save my life, but this guy has it down. The most comprehensive page of beards I've come across. Enjoy1

I think I've probably "achieved" as many of these as he has, and maybe a few others that aren't on his list.

Still, pretty impressive. Not to mention an admirable use of the internets to inform and entertain.

Immitation is the best form of flatery.

I have achieved zero of these beard styles.

I wish I could grow facial hair... I could be a master of disguise like this guy. His white guy rapper is hilarious!

All I can achieve is the goatee.  Though as I've been gettin older the moustache might fill in.  But it's just so annoying that i'd probably never be patient enough to grow it in.

I didn't see the Prop Beard represented in his list. That's what I call the one where you shave your head and grow a standard beard that begins at the top of the sideburns and proceeds downward from there.

the left side of my sideburns doesn't fill in well at the top, so i go a little lower, so they line up with the arms of my sunglasses. but i shave my melon down to the wood. starting now, i should have a bitchin beard by about November. i need to get one of those old man combs (really small with the tiny teeth), i lost mine in the move. great for beards.

Great find!

I've been trying as many variations as I can lately.  I've found the trick for us non Sasquatches, is to let the hair grow as long as you can.  It will continue to look spotty and shitty for quite some time.  Keep shaving it every 2 weeks and sooner or later it will start to fill in and thicken up.

the wierdest feeling (IMO) is when I shave the goatee off.  My chin feels numb and the slightest wind feels piercing.

totally. i usually get sick of my beard in march or april, then for some unknown reason, the local weather dufus says it'll be like 65 out and it drops to -20 and my face feels like i just dunked it in liquid nitrogen.
