Spark Festival of Electronic Music and Art
At/around the U of MN.
Scads of performances, lectures, installations, etc.
Super-duper awesome!
There are two keynote speakers- Alvin Lucier who's a super important figure in the history of electronic/experimental music. He's going to sit in a room that probably is not very similar to the one you are sitting in now and give an engaging and informative lecture. And Robin Rimbaud a.k.a. Scanner who will also be performing.
