I'm really trying to give him the benefit of the doubt because I'm watching his apology and he just seems like a dude who tried to shoot from the hip and it blew up on him. I can't believe for a second he was making light of an assassination attempt. The only other option I can see is he's making light of Obama because he's a soft-city dude who's never been around guns before. Or hunting. And so he's not a man's man and would jump out of his skin if he heard the racket.
No chance in hell I'd give a Dem that much slack though so, yeah, Huck's an idiot at best.
