Dying Euforia's new drummer!!!...is insane and is NOT our drummer anymore!!!!

Joe from Frontline Massacre (also formerly of Serrated Edge) he Is completely insane.

He stabbed me in the neck tonight, tried to stabbed Jared, destroyed my amp head, and entire rig, and even tried to bite off Jared's nose!!! NO JOKE!!!


he is NOT our drummer, and I recommend he NOT be yours either.

is on his ass and WILL be fucking his shit up soon!!!! And at the very least, I, Jeremy from D.E. and formerly of REVELENCE, am looking for him and will be fucking his bitch ass up soon!!! I know that all sounds ghetto as fuck, but you gotta understand how pissed we are. We spent 10 months lookng for "the Guy' thought we found him and he turned out to be phsyco and stabb us!!!! and to top it off, destroyed my entire rig!!! Well guess what you dumb mother fucker??!!! you left your drums at the space with no key!! They are mine now!!! So that should replace my rig anf guitars!!! hopefully.

I am o.k., hardly any blood. Jared is a bit worse off, but still o.k. to tell you the truth he did more damage to my gear!! haha.

But in answer to your question, yep a knife, in my neck.....but bad aim, so more of a slice/scratch. same with jared, but better aim. still not super serious

Calling the police would be the best idea here.

Posting your INTENT to assault someone, no matter what the justification, will lead to him getting your stuff and you in jail while he laughs. 

Calm down and realize the dude has problems that you stealing from him and assaulting him won't fix (and won't make you feel any better).

There is always the option of putting his drums outside the door and them magically disappearing the next time you go back to practice.

 You guys are all right. I was pretty heated last night and those statements were pretty out of character for me.

The weird thing is....dude was sooooo chill!! Quiet, soft spoken. This whole thing is just crazy.

But yes, definitely agree with all of you, "stealing" his gear and fucking him up would be dumb, and pretty juvenile.

I will be meeting with the rest of the band today and we're going to figure out how we want to handle this. I would feel dumb pressing charges and shit, but then again Toodles is very right, what if he does something worse down the road and could have been stopped?

Hey everybody, just wanted to give you all an update on the events of last night.

But first off, thank you so much to all of you for your warm thoughts and concern. You guys are the best fans/friends a band could ask for.

So, we're not gonna do the typical band thing and be a vague about this. You deserve to hear what happened, so here goes:

We were all out at the Dubliner, a local St. Paul pub, ironically celebrating the addition of Joe Erickson to the band on drums. tim was not able to be there, as he was at the Dream theatre show.

Everything was going great for a few hours, then we went outside so Rayne and Joe could smoke. Joe starts getting weird towards Jeremy, saying odd shit about how even though Jeremy works out and was in the ARMY and shit, that he could still kill him. Everyone was gettin weirded out. Next thing you know Joe has a knife to Jeremys Throat and says "see, I could kill you right now if I wanted" Jeremy naturally flinched, which caused the knife to break the skin.

Jeremy then began asking Joe what the fuck was wrong with him, etc. Jared and Rayne did the same. It was a wild scene.

Somehow shit calmed down a bit and we all went back inside. Then Joe get's on the topic of band money and how the band should pay for his expenses (i.e. his drums, cymbals, sticks, etc.) and he was adamant about it. Everyone kept telling him that's not how the band works. We take our profit and put it towards merch, touring/out of town expenses, recording, etc. Joe did not like that at all and began to get heated up again. At which point Jeremy told him that "Between the knife thing and this....i think you're in the wrong band"

That ended the night at the bar. Jeremy then dropped Joe, Jared and Rayne off at the space.

Joe became irate again, and started saying 'You guys have to pick between Jared or me" and other odd things. Then Joe attacked Jared, attempted to stab him with that same knife and managed to graze the skin, drawing blood. Nothing warranting a hospital or doctor attention. Then Joe lunged forward while Ryane was wrestling with him and bit Jareds Nose. Rayne managed to wrestle Joe off of Jared and Joe walked out, but not before knocking Jeremy's entire rig over and rendering it useless. Broken tubes, input jacks, broken rack, etc.

So that is what happened. Jeremy, Jared and Rayne are all o.k.

Lesson #1........before you offer the a spot in your band to anyone........drink with them first. 

He was always saying that his girlfriend didn't like him drinking.....now I can see why.

My thoughts exactly.  The whole stabbing stuff was secondary the shock I felt when I saw that Revel Jeremy let an assclown from Serrated Edge in his band.

Damn! That is fucked up! I'm glad you guys are not seriously injured. I hope your amp gets started up allright, that's almost as bad as bodily injury.

Think of it this way though, you will have a very metal story to tell for years to come

I had an ex band mate like that. 

One night we woke up to him beating the crap out of our drummer for no reason what so ever.  THe drummer was sleeping at the time.

Another time he tried stealing a semi and called 9-11 on himself. 

Here is that Epic tale:

I was playing in another band at the 400 Bar when I came home to find his girlfriend crying because she didn't know where he was.  , Nothing new for me as we were roommates.

The next afternoon he comes walking in with a baggy with all his stuff, tells me some kids were throwing rocks at him last night so he hid in a running semi that was unlocked and then called the cops.  Because he was in the vehicle while it was running and he was drunk they arrested him dor DUI.

HERE IS THE TRUTH:

I use to hang out a 24 hr diner where cops, tow trucks etc....frequent and it was from them we got the real story.

He was drunk, that much was true, when he happened upon a semi unlocked.  He jumped in and got it started but couldn't figure out the air brake that locked up the trailer  (I don't have acutaly first hand knowledge of the braking system in semis but this is what I took from the story given to us by the tow truck driver who we'll meet later in this strory)

SO HE CALLED 911 and asked for them to send someone out to help him with his problem, he claimed to be a Semi driver with an seized up brake line.  They advised him that they don't handle that and he should call a tow company.  He did, and they sent someone out.  Suspecting something shady, the tow guy asked for his ID so he  could "process the paper work" for coming out there to help him but instead called the cops who came and arrested him. 

Apparently the tow guy suspected something was up when he asked him who he drove for and our band member had to look at the side of the truck and read it.  THen he asked him how long he had worked for them and "2 years" was his resonse ,

"2 years and you have to look at the side of the truck to remember the name?"Our prestigious band member replied that he had a long day and the last thing he needs is a tow guy busting his balls when he should be helping with his brakes.

The thing is, he really thought it was his truck, and no drugs just alcohol here. 

Allowing him to walk back into the bar on 2 legs after
pulling a knife on you was mistake #1.

Drinking more with him afterwards was #2.

Giving him a ride back was #3.

Coming here instead of calling the cops - #4.


Not that I don't love a good drinking story though...

 yeah. Definately alot of mistakes made last night.

I guess I was maybe in denial about the knife being pulled on me.....he kept trying to pass it off as a joke/just fucking around, and maybe I just wanted to believe it. he just kept saying "you making too big of a deal out of it, I was just trying to prove a point" The party was done for me at that point. In fact when we all went back inside, I walked away and called Tim (our bassist) to tell him that I we need to give joe the boot and explained what had happened.

I definately didn't drink anymore after that. I just kind of sat there, replaying what had happened in my head. That's when he was going on his tyrade about how we should pay for any gear he needs and shit like that.

When I gave them a ride back, shit was fairly calm considering the situation. Just a very odd vibe for sure.

I wasn't there when the rest of the shit happened at the space.

The reason I didn't/haven't called the cops yet is because...well...I work side by side with the police due to my day job and I know how this shit works. It's sad to say, but it ends up being more trouble then it's worth.

the only reason why I want to call the cops now is cuz I don't want him to do something worse to someone else.

I will be getting together with the band today and we're gonna figure it out.

WOW...just realized something.....He did this with a knife...........and used to be in a band called Serrated Edge!!! Weird.

 OMFG that is some crazy shit. I've had knives at my throat before, makes for an uneasy feeling, I must admit. Normally I would come back and shoot that mofo later but I think at this point (too much publicity yo) you're better off calling the cops, thats gotta be Assault 1 or 2 and if he has any kind of record this incident should put him away for awhile. You should prolly post a nice mugshot of him so we can avoid him! Side story: a friend of mine in St. Louis went outside the bar for a fair fight with this guy one time. Dude pulls a knife on him, sticks him once, drops the knife, my friend picks it up and proceeds to stab him no less than 29 times. It was a Gerber Gator, those familiar with that blade know they don't want to be on the recieving end... He also went to visit the guy in the hospital a week later, just to give him shit damn I am glad I don't live there anymore... I can honestly say that there is not one friend of mine that I went to high school with, that is not dead or in prison. Truly sad...
