Beautiful bass, could use a setup and some minor fret redress, picked it up on tallbass.com a week ago and sadly it just won't work for what I had intended it for (think I need double coil pickups for 200+bpm) so here it is. Small ding top of body (by top I mean only the person playing it can see it) small area of visible yet purely cosmetic scuffing on the back of the neck is all. Sold for thousands more, very hard to find one used and the luthier is like 9 mos backlogged I think (I know 'cuz I am ordering a 4 string with different config) The bass is fretted to the 7th then fretless, with maple lines and fret markers. Please refer to this original post for more details: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=419831 Looking to break even, $820.00 its out the door. No trades or negotiations as this bass is worth every penny and I have no problem keeping it. Must say, produces a beautiful woody tone that would be ideal for jazz or blues. Can also produce a throaty rumble if you desire...
bump for a rad bass...if I had the cake it'd be mine!
Yeah no takers, neither here nor talkbass.com, go figure! I've actually become used to the 5 strings, still don't know what the hell to do on the fretless side lol it sounds so sweet! At this point I feel I have done everything to ensure that the Gods want me to keep this bass and be happy, the sustain makes me feel like, well, swell!
Up for sale again, got some chiropractor bills to pay :( No changes to the above, first $820.00 takes it!
...Sold! You guys suck, this awesome piece of heaven is on its way to France to play U.S. top 40 cover songs. Yeah, you should feel bad.
