I'm adding to the "cassanatra ex align circle jerk".

So I finally took out my Life and Times cd and decided to replace it with the new ALTW in my truck. I think this new one is probably my favorite of the collection. The drumming is AMAZING and the drums sound huge and really stand out great. All the tones sound really good, so thumbs up to Bill and Rocky(and Jeff Halland). The album has a great flow to it, I like how track ten goes into track eleven. There are a few of those cool transitions in between songs. Those kind of things are cool to hear on albums, it reminds me of the Houston albums a little, and that's a good thing. After hearing track ten I don't think ALTW need another guitar player, they need a keyboard player, ha just kidding, but maybe. I picked this up on Friday for free at their cd release show. Not sure if they plan on giving it away for free all the time or not, but you should pick it up. You get 13 songs and it rocks, it sort of reminds me a little of Oceansize and something else. imagine that. ; )

The new Casanatra album will blow your heads off, so keep an ear out for that.

Man, I'm an idiot, haha. I put ALTW all those times when it should have been ATWR. I must have been in my own world, yikes. We need to do something about that edit button.

I second this thread.  I admit, honestly...within 2 work days, it had been on repeat 15 times in a row, straight.  I loved it like Wilt Chamberlin.

Yes this record does indeed slay.  Ed Grimley would approve.

Scat by numbers.

I misplaced the album for some time....found it the other day and have listened to it several times...I'm really diggin "Aqualamb" a lot.  Overall great album!!!  I have to say I felt a little salty being that I purchased the album pre the cd release show and ended up paying more for it because of it....someone owes me a drink. Stick out tongue

Is Luxembourg on this album?  I love that tune.

Didn't you pay more for it because you bought it pre-release?   You salty bastard! :)

Well now you should have two copies so when one gets scratched you'll have backup.

No worries about scratches.  We have PLENTY.  Big Smile

Luxembourg was on our last record.....and being that nearly EVERY note (save the vocals) and 95% of the arrangment of that song were the work of William Collins, we've sort of retired it in his honor.

Meh...no big deal.  Been listening to the other tracks as well, and they're great.  Good job!
