That is in reference to unprepared dishes like raw meat and not food that has already been cooked and is just in need of some heat for yumminess
Gary Carter: Then microwave one of those glorious Marie Callendar pot pies that takes 11 minutes to nuke. People fucking flip. I put mine in there, and set the time for 11 mins. I left it there cooking while I went to check emails. I came back at the 6 minute mark to rotate it the quarter turn and these two broads were clearly plotting to remove it so they could cook their lunch that apparently took precedence over mine. It's not like I left this in there after it was done - it was only halfway thru cooking, and they're already thinking about removing it. Had that happened, I would have been in HR's office getting my pink slip, cuz these bitches would have seen wrath like never before. I might have actually punched one of them! Again, it's not like I left the shit in there for 10 minutes AFTER it was done! It was actively cooking. It's not like when you live in an apartment, there's only one washer available, and someone forgot and hasn't removed their clothes that were done hours ago, so you pile their clothes on top of the macheen so they can deal with it. I'm only ranting about this now because this is not the first time this has happened here ,and it's only when I make these wonderful pot pies. What the fuck is so hard about waiting your turn? I would never ever remove someone else's food from the 'crowave if it was cooking. I wouldn't even consider it. How fuckin' RUDE!

Taking 11 minutes of a half hour lunch break for your food is really pretty lame.
If you pulled that on a big construction job with 50 guys waiting for the microwave your lunch would be in the garbage and you would be minus 4 front teeth.

Apparently it doesn't take 11 minutes to drive to a nearby fast food location, or walk to a nearby store to purchase lunch, or any of the other possible scenarios. Seems by that snot-nosed post that any lunch you've ever been involved in must only take 2 1/2 minutes. If so, I'm happy for you. You must be proud of yourself. *golf clap*
For the record, there was nowhere near fifty people waiting their turn. If you would have read other posts, you would have noticed that I made sure to choose a time to cook that would normally be off-peak, due to the time involved.
