Bullet point NBA opinions

• Pat Riley is a douchebag. I guess it's a good gig if you can get it, but he's still a douchebag for what he keeps doing. 
• Larry Brown is a douchebag. I guess it's a good gig if you can get it, but he's still a douchebag for what he keeps doing.
• Josh Howard's an idiot. If he's right about his weed claims, then why would he piss off his peers that allegedly all toke like he does, and bring attention to the league and more importantly, the players themselves? What a fool. Being candid is one thing, but being candid about everyone else is some turncoat shit.
• Jason Kidd's foul on Janerro Pargo was fuckin' bad. I truly don't feel that he tried to maim him, just seemed like a hard playoff foul. But the fact is, Pargo got flipped so makes it pretty bad. He could have gotten TJ Ford'd easily there. Even if the intention may not have been there (who truly knows), the result should still justify a suspension. Remains to be seen at this point if he's gonna be shelved by Emperor Stern.
  
• I love that Cuban booted a guy for harassing Chris Paul. Sometimes I think Cuban is a loon, and other times I love his style (I thought the whole DQ kerfuffle was handled brilliantly, for instance). I thought this one was cool.
• Local Irish musician Leslie Rich reminds me of Hedo Turkoglu.
• Dallas' playoff free fall the past few years is cracking me up. I have nothing against the squad (I actually liked them a lot with Nash n' Dirk partying it up), but I always love watching teams go down in flames. Train wreck TV if you will.
• Hopefully Deshawn Stevenson has learned his lesson.

• Pat Riley is five times the douchebag Larry Brown is.  He coaches with Stan Van Gundy's blood on his hands, he takes way too much time off, and that roster was not the worst team in basketball.  If you had some compentence and sanity, wouldn't you have gone apeshit working for James Dolan and Isiah Thomas?  Not that he behaved like a choirboy, but he has moral superiority to Pat Riley.
• An NBA player smokes weed in the offseason?  Wow.  I suppose baseball players take steroids and politicians cheat on their wives.
• Chris Wallace (the guy who traded Gasol to the Lakers) deserves to wake up with a horse head in his bed every day until he resigns from his job.
• I'm rooting for the 76ers, Flip be damned. 
• Shaquille O'Neal = David Wells
• Hedo Turkoglu reminds me of tall David Faustino
• When hockey players fight after a "flagrant" foul it's awesome.  But if black players throw punches when someone gets flagrant fouled, it's a "gangsta thug" league.  God bless America.
• Ben Wallace, you are not that good, and you need to start making free throws
• I would be scared of Delonte West if I met him in real life

The only team I dislike more than Dallas is Denver. 

This is a beautiful playoffs.

I wish somebody would put Carmelo Anthony in a time machine and send him to the 1990s with Derrick Coleman, Kenny Anderson, and Glenn Robinson where he belongs.

I'm cheering for the Sixers too.  The Pistons just have a smug sort of attitude about them.  I'm enjoying seeing the new A.I. wipe the smirks off their collective grills. 

And Rasheed's a nutjob.

• I'm not sure what I hate more - Carmelo and AI's useless sleeves, or Carmelo's mustache.
• Reggie Miller is awful. I can't deal with that guy's mouth.
• Is it just me, or does Ernie Johnson kind of look sickly these days?
• NBA in HD is where amore happens.
• I want Wally vs KG in the playoffs. BAD.
• It's nice to watch an NBA telecast without Tom Hanneman's company-man blinders. I don't blame the guy, but he's unlistenable.

That dunk on Rasheed was filthy cool. Whatever that means. 

 Biggest downer of the playoffs so far:

The dancing Geico caveman commercials.  I want to break a 2x4 over that guy.
