...And they want an open-air Twins ballpark...

They should have spent the extra $800 Bazillion and got a retractable roof.  Are we not going to have a home opener for the 1st month of the season once they are in the new park?  It's almost May and it's snowing againStorm

Quit yer bitchin. I got straight up stranded in Ortonville, MN last night (MN/SD border) due to 40mph winds and a blizzard warning from the National Weather Service. Easily the worst conditions I've ever driven in, no exaggeration whatsoever. Driving from the border to Aberdeen, SD this morning/afternoon wasn't a lot better between there and Webster, SD. Hwy 12 was shut down until noon and everything. And here you are whining about fucking flurries! The Twin Cities got off easy. Had this system hit the TC area full on it would have really fucked some shit up. So pipe down. Wink

We played in Becker last night and the drive home was just awful. Horseshit visability. Yet, by the time i got to 169, it was totally fine. Roads were just wet, that's all...

Ha, Ortonville, Aberdeen... brings back memories-

My brother played football for Northern State Univ in Aberdeen, so I would drive out there once in a while to some of his games.

I went off the road on the way back once, not really into the ditch cuz they dont have many ditches (or trees for that matter, that's why they have so many snow drift problems), but rode some snow drifts off the road into a snow bank.  This was 10 or so years ago, so I didn't have a cell phone then- I hitched a ride from a van full of Indian guys to the next gas station to call my insurance company to get the free tow service thing.

Anyways, yeah- it wasn't even that bad of conditions for around there.  It wasn't snowing, just wind driven snow blowing drifts all over the highway of that flat land area.  So, if you had to drive through anything close blizzard conditions out there, then I feel for ya!
