I havent yet, but I see they are playing with a national act so I might consider it. are they good?
You ask a lot of questions
I've seen them many times... Usually great live, but there have been some bad nights. Good band for sure, well worth the effort to see them.
I hope you got alot of answers...
but seriously I appreciate all the info guys...
Opening for a national act doesn't really mean that much. Means you know someone who's booking the show and they've seen you before and liked you. We (child of the black madonna) were actually slated to do this show by the end of feb. but there was a falling out with the promoter who had us in there so say la V. Have at it! Rock yer faces off for me.
Yes, I have seen them and every time they were room clearingly horrible.
Dirty Sanchez: Yes, I have seen them and every time they were room clearingly horrible.
That's not true
Stan doesn't lie.
Sure he does
Not in this case.
Is every song a blatant Hoobastank ripoff?
Number Johnny 5
Todzilla: Sure he does
Clearly you reject my reality and substitute your own.
Regardless, every time I have seen Far From Falling play with a decent band that I am there to see, they have been basically unbearable. That is my reality.
What's with the fake posts Drizzle?
What band are you in or what band do you "work" for?
Fucking internet cowards. I hate that shit.
You said they are room clearinly horrible and that is not the case.
They actually do quite well at the Fine Line on a weekend, how many others here can claim that?
So you may not like them and that is fine but they aren't room clearingly horrible, that is a lie.
Unless you can prove where you have actually seen them clear a room with their music.
Hey Toddah, do you ever take frozen meals to work and leave them on your desk to thaw?
Todzilla: You said they are room clearinly horrible and that is not the case.
What? How can you speak in absolutes when talking about opinions?
Your post essentially boiled down to: "Your opinion is wrong, and you can't dislike a band that does quite well at the Fine Line because others in the scene may not be able to do that."
Laughable. Just admit your bias as a former FFF member and we can all move along.
Nope, not liking them is okay but to make AN ABSOLUTE claim like they are room clearinly horrible is not the case and the reference to their success at the fine line has nothing to do with saying you have to like them but to show they are not clearing the rooms of any places they are playing and in fact the opposite is happening. THUS the claim is not true. I never said they weren't horrible just that they weren't room clearing horrible.
No I am not a former member of FFF but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express.

Your point about the Fine Line is irrelavent.
They cleared the room at the Java Joint in St. Cloud when I saw them there and they cleared the room at Star Central when I saw them there. No lies here, only my version of reality.
Horrible band. Just horrible.
Cooper: Hey Toddah, do you ever take frozen meals to work and leave them on your desk to thaw?
Ha, it was funny yesterday and I'm pretty sure Owen copy writes his material so I'd watch out.

I said they WERE room clearingly horrible when I saw them and, in fact, they were. Read more carefully before you tell me that my opinion is wrong. They were room clearingly horrible. Plain and simple.
This whole thread is retarded. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We're going to keep playing music regardless of whatever threads pop up.
And Sanchez, to be fair, the last Java Joint show we played was in 2004, and Star Central hasn't existed for a long, long time. If you see us now and still hate us, fine. If you like us, fine. Either way, who cares.
Really, I'm pretty sure I was at both those shows and not only were they ummm 4 years ago but they in fact did not clear the room like you mentioned. In fact they actually hail from St. Cloud and pack the Rox up there when they arrive.
Now had you said, when they first started out 4 years ago they were room clearingly horrible but I haven't seen them since I wouldn't have said anything.
You misleader you, get into politics where you belong.
