T-JACK will be improved this year. Better receivers will work wonders! You just watch, Telly.

BTW - way to leak the picture Santonio Holmes sent to your cell phone. I didn't know you liked the Steelers THAT much.

Love the deal! About time this team gets serious about a pass rush.

Whoa, Santonio and I have similarly toned upper bodies. Indifferent

All Allen has to do is be sober for a year and he's out of the NFL substance abuse program. He should be ok. Hard to not chew fingernails the entire time though, considering the Koren Robinson debacle.

But man...who the fuck can opposing O-lines double team now? Damned if you do, damned if you don't. That rools.

Oh, and if losing two thirds in the deal this year worries people, check out this page and go thru all the third rounds. I'm personally not too worried, not a lotta luminaries there. I went back to 2003 and the only two standout players drafted in round 3 were Frank Gore and Lance Briggs, both taken very high in the round. Those two are good, but they are head and shoulders above the rest. After the second tier guys like Chris Simms, Bernard Berrian, Landon Johnson, et al, you start getting into the Marcus McCauleys and Maurice Claretts. So I think it's fine. Strike while the iron's hot.

 Great photo! I mean, wtf?!

Little do you know that Kordell Stewart took the photo. Don't ask me how they know each other.

The best part about Allen getting traded was not having to listen to insufferable talk about who the Vikings should draft, and I almost completely forgot until it was NFL draft weekend until like the day before.

Random NFL rant, hey Mel Kiper Jr, grow a pair of fucking balls.  Every year, he issues his draft grades, and every team rates from a "B+ to a C-"   This year, the Kansas City Chiefs got an A because they drafted two players Mel was fellating, and everyone else fell in the "B+ to C-" range.

You analyze these people all year Mel, how about you tell us who's going to be a complete and total bust and call someone on it, or stick your next out and say this guy's going to be the next great thing and give them an A.  You do all this research and give us pussyfoot information.  Go to hell.

If wishes and buts were clusters of nuts we'd all have a bowl of granola

Mel's a draft blowhard. I actually do like him on ESPN radio when he's co-hosting a full show and talking all sports, not just college ball (which I'm not into in the first place). But as a draft guy, his opinions are no more predictive than the raw college stats these players put up were. He's a talking head. So when he's on TV, I avoid him. I consciously avoided having the volume on the TV this weekend when I was watching some of the draft. But I get annoyed by 96% of the announcers/analysts out there, so whatever.
