Ok, so did you guys pull UFA from this show because of all the flack?  UFA clearly had the Testament show listed on their myspace page.  If you guys did that then I'm proud of you.

Fuck no, we did not pull UFA because of that.  It was a misunderstanding in the 1st place.

Do you think all of the crybaby whining makes me want to change my mind?  Do you think that if my kids ask for something and I say no, that they can whine and bitch and cry and I'll change my mind?

well, if having 13th step announce they were opening for the sake of making ANY other band lineup better - kudos! not my choice of openers, but not my show.

There was some "crybaby whining", but I think most of it was more WTF is going on.  Kudos on getting Testament, and Helmet for that matter, into town.

Note to self:  guy that wants me to pay twenty bones to see Testament is going to call me a crybaby for expressing displeasure about the undercard.

I caught Testament at an arena show back in the day. I remember thinking Skolnick looked like one of those push-up dolls where you press the button on the bottom of the base and the body moves around but the feet stay locked in one place. I don't know if he's always that inactive on stage, but I swear his feet were locked in the same exact spot for the entire set which looked incredibly strange. Especially on such a large stage.

k, so i am new to this forum, but i know a lot about the local scene..

first off 13th step opening for testament was just food for thought, trying to pull in a crowd... but i talked to mattytime and he said they didnt want the show because they had other shows that they fit better on coming up... i love those guys but i really dont think they would have fit that bill at all.. but the lineup of for blood, dying euforia, and buried by hope fits very nicely..
