Stuck in craw..

People not finding the extra time in their busy days to use salutations in their fackin' e-mails. Is it really that tough to write Hello? Or even Hello____,?

Hi. Hey. What's up? would even work.

Rude ass people.

 

I've noticed this same trend and it is annoying.  I always make sure I have one in all of my e-mails. 

... The use of a "Importance: High" exclaimation point in Outlook e-mail for a non- "importance: high" issue...

 I never really noticed till now, but now that I think about it I guess I do use salutations. Mine's just a simple "Hi so-and so," every time.

I should use "Dear Sirs," sometime again though, it's been awhile. It just sounds so cosmopolitan and upstanding and shit. Or perhaps even an ill-placed (given the recipient) "WHATUP YO?" in caps to my boss. 

 

 I pretty much only include a salutation if I'm initiating the conversation and pretty much never, if it's a reply.

I don't know....maybe that's rude, but even if there's a "Hi, How are you?", I usually know they don't really want me to actually tell them....at work, at least.

I can't stand it when someone just forwards you and email in a effort to say, "take care of this because I don't have the time or I'm to important to concern myself with this" but they don't say that, they just forward it to you with no explanation.

Thank God I'm not the only one. This bugs the shit out of me. Rude as all hell. Thank you for posting this!
