For the three people out there who care, who do you like?

I'm really hoping for a Celtics/Lakers revival in the finals.  I'd love to see KG and Ray Ray get rings.

In Phoenix, the Shaq experiment is looking smarter than I initially thought although I'm not sure he'll stay healthy if they go deep.

I love this game!

Dallas & New Orleans should be a good 'un.

HD playoff basketball! W00T!!

If KG didn't get a ring...I can't say I'd feel bad. As much as I like him as a player, I'm no longer in mourning so he's just another superstar to me. I actually have a sadistic hope that they'll make it to the Finals and then just totally unravel. I'm a dick like that.

I'd rather see Flip get a ring than K.G.  Everybody's talked so much about K.G. in this town.....Mr. Saunders got the real raw deal in the demise of this franchise.

J_Taffe:

Mr. Saunders got the real raw deal in the demise of this franchise.

True but he lost the team.  They had to get rid of him.  Not like they could jettison the whole squad.

Wait...

Never mind.

Here's what I decided today.

CP3...I've never seen him play before and he's a freak.  Dude is unbelievable.

Houston is toast.  T-Mac is NOT a superstar.  Other than Battier and that guy with the UPS whiteboard guy's hairdo, the whole team just stood around and looked like they were playing a pickup game.  (Well, Bobby Jackson played hard too I guess.)  Otherwise, they look indifferent to the whole playoff vibe AND they're at home.  They're done.

I'll probably never see Tim Duncan hit another three again.  Ever.  That series should go to seven games if Phoenix can keep their heads up.  Really tough loss for them though.

Gilbert Arenas should've kept his trap shut.  LeBron is going to beat them like a drum...again.

T-Mac is as big of a fraud as his cousin, Vince Carter.

The Pistons will come back in next game and lay the beatdown on the 76'ers.  Hope they're enjoying their win.  I can't see them getting another.

Boston looks unstoppable.

Edit:  Lance, I agree that Vinsanity is completely overrated but this was the sickest play I've ever seen in my life.

So...did I really say Boston looks unstoppable?

Yikes.

I love the constant mention from fans on the street about just how ossim New Orleans is on the bumpers for almost every break. As overdone as they do it, I love the fact that the league is serious about it and are pimping it hard. I hope the NFL does the same thing if NO gets a lot of national ballgames this year.

I love every second of the Hornets. Especially Byron Scott's wispy and graying perpetual barely-stache.

Totally agree with the Sports guy though - New Orleans needs to take their name back from Salt Lake and do a swap.

I know it doesn't add to the conversation at all but I wanted

to say that I have never cared any less about basketball than

I do right now.

However, for the sake of the thread I ask: Lakers and Celtics?

Carry on.

This Hornets squad is kicking the hell out of the world champs.  I can't wait to see these guys face the Lakers.

I have watched basically every game this playoff season, and I think that, so far, the playoffs have been great.

Any year when the Spurs don't win the championship is a great year.

In the current series, I'm rooting for the Lakers, Hornets, Magic (unfortunately, down 0-2), and the Celtics.

I actually don't WANT the celtics to win the championship.  F Cassell and KG.

LadyBender... havin' the best weekend ever for a while now...

I'm buying a Chris Paul jersey, and if available, a pair of Chris Paul Underoos. It's been a long time since I've seen a guy with this much guile.

Somebody explain to me how guys like Duncan can be Hall of Fame caliber players who can do anything but hit a freakin' uncontested free throw.  Spurs look old and slow and pouty.

So with that logic, Shaq shouldn't make it, then?

I don't agree with that...I do see what you're saying, but a deficiency on one area shouldn't necessarily discount them completely from being a HoF'er. As much as Duncan makes me show my teefs like an angry German Shepherd cuz he's such a whiner (especially when he tilts his head!), he's still unquestionably one of the all-time greats. Free throws or not.

That said, F the Spurs. They'll prolly win tonight, but I can't wait for them to be cast aside like the Mavs and Suns this year.

Whoa!  Easy does it there, Chief.  I'm not saying they should be disqualified from the Hall.  I'm just flabbergasted that these phenomenal players are so abysmal at playing horse.  It can't be from lack of reps or practice.  It doesn't make sense to me that's all.

Frickin' Spurs.  I'm really tired of them and Detroit.  So boring.

How weird is it that Boston just cannot under any circumstances win on the road?!
