Let's tally up the damage to my personal property so far...

~Electrical wiring underneath my car.

~Gas line in car, had to call the Fire department to get it towed.

~Propane gas line

~Squirrel died in my wall, three new holes in the drywall to find the stinking carcas

~Propane gas line #2

~Wall damage behind dishwasher, ended up getting out and scratching a friend in its "escape."

~Now, another is stuck in the wall of my second bedroom, and roommate is going to open the wall up to let it out.

We've hired two separate trappers, neither of which could capture all of the squirrels, and neither of which has followed through to get the holes in the building fixed.  I've even tried covering the top of a pumpkin with rat poison pellets.  They ate the pellets like scoobie snacks and didn't die.

WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?!?! Super Angry

Get a BB gun.

Is that legal?  (any more legal than spreading rat poison all over the place?)

No, but I'm sure you'd get a feeling of satisfaction by killing a couple of squirrels.  In the end, isn't that the important part?

I feel your pain owen. Although you have it much worse than Newman. The squirrels have taken over Newmans garage, I think they are going to eat it to the ground. I even tryed the rat poisen pellets like you did. I put them in the garbage(They get in there a lot) and I just laid them out on the ground, I think they ate them, but I don't see any dead squirrels.

Squirrels do suck.

ps. Get a pellet gun, causes more damage than a bb gun.

Wow....maybe you have some crazy mutant city squirrles. They've become dependant on a diet of wireing, drywall, and fuel lines in stead of seeds and nuts like the happy little squirrels in the 'burbs?

Hose your place down with predator urine, like wolf or coyote.

..if you really want it to work make sure the predator sticks around for a while.

OOH OHH go on Craigs list and adopt all the snakes that people realized weren't actually cool pets after all and let them loose to take care of the problem.

I was thinking about that, too...  Maybe putting it in a high-powered squirt gun or something and periodically shooting it in the squirrel holes.  Where does one find large quantities of predator urine?

So now we see where this whole thing was headed... NO Owen, I'm not going to pee on you again until you pay for last time.

I also heard that Strobe lights are hated by squirrels.

I'm thinking of a SHOCK AND AWE approach to your problem.

This weekend we find an open area outside and pour out a bunch bait for the squirrels. Then we turn on the strobes we have lowered into the holes, and wait.  Once they start to appear we start taking them out with the silent but deadly pellet guns.

If that doesn't work we will have to plan a surge.

My dad lives in Hudson.  Right in town.  He has a bb gun that freakin' rocks.  Can't remember for sure but I wanna say it was as powerful as a .22.  Only its silent.

Dead silent.

He used to bum out about red squirrels in his attic.  Now I think he relishes their arrival.

Doesn't it just sound cooler to buy a gun as opposed to urine?

I was thinking that it would be hilarious to use a paintball gun.  Then that fucker would be walking around the neighborhood covered in paint and feeling a bit sore.

So, who has a gun I can borrow?

Maybe instead of using predator urine, you should just put the actual predator in there... Cut out the middle man.

Owen, the squirrels will probably be back over and over again.  Rather than borrow one, you may want to invest in an air rifle.  Based on these photos, I'm thinking you could probably drop a squirrel with one of these:
