Ha its all good Thor...I am having a bit of trouble finding someone good in my own age group that loves to play metal for the love of music and not fame and fourtune.

Of course if I let out that I have a full soundproof 36 track private production facility, Label interest and possible spot on a popular tour, why it would look like an american idol audition around here but I don`t have any of that going right now.Wink

Well can ya blame 'em, there's not much of a market for original metal here in the states. We're lucky to do a show every third month now, and even then the turnout seems to be getting worse... at one point in time I was able to play (just about) every Iron Maiden song (on bass) as well as the Police and Metal Church, but since joining Under Eden and buying a (shithole) house that needed complete renovation, I haven't had the time. But sometimes, mostly at night, mostly, I fire up my Rock in Rio and play some classics. What's yer fave Maiden release? I gotta go with Seventh Son, Somewhere in Time a close second, if only for 1 song, Sea of Madness. You oughtta come see a show sometime, Harris has always been my inspiration and it shows; I'll even bust a machine gun on occassion just to piss people off lol

Thanks for the invite Thor I`d really like to see you play, I have heard of your band I`ll drop yeh a line on myspace.

My honey just got me the Live after death DVD from the 1984-85 tour and I just fell in love all over again, Maiden is one band I never got to see live untill the DVD.

Harris is unreal on bass, and the only reason the guitarists could pull off all the double lead stuff I love so much, Keep busting out that machine gun its a great tribute to Mr. Harris. Favorite Maiden???? Piece of mind, Killers, or Number of the beast.....I really like Hallowed be thy name right now and 22 acacia ave.

I Had a Demo up on our myspace awhile back called skate or die, which was some thrash metal with a chours and a harmonized maideny solo hardcore breakdown and death metal vocals and about the only people that went nutz for it was the Germans.

I thank Germany daily for Running Wild, sure they dress like gay pirates but I do love their music! just an FYI for me Heaven can Wait was the most difficult to master, use that for your bass auditions if you have any. Good luck with your search man! Hate to see a vacant studio!
