Hey--

My band needs a van.  We do a lot of traveling and have decided that we're tired of driving our cars.  I don't know a ton about buying used vehicles; can you all offer any suggestions vis-a-vis what constitutes high mileage on a van (are the standards different than on a car, for example), what year is too old, etc.?

I guess our budget is around $3K which obviously isn't a ton.  What kind of beater can I look to get for that money?

Thanks for the input!

Adam

Go christian and get a church to buy you one.

OR

I would go cargo van, slimmed down, no frills, just a box, (with a big engine if you're towing a trailer).

Perfect, if the band was called The Namblaphonics!
