Damn, that's what I get for getting married, a full time job, going to school part time, having a dog and a house....I miss out on so much cool stuff.  I'm going through my mid life crisis early.

I think most are just too lazy to do something like this... Most of the musicians that are actively seeking projects are musicians with hopes of "making it", which would make an experimental project not at all worth their time.

I couldn't have said it better. With all the tribute and cover band trends going on right now that sentence speaks volumes.

 No, it's more like Hatebeak

I followed the link and thought it was a joke. Then I went and searched for them on myspace... WOW. Huh?

A band like this....you'd better be INSANELY good or willing to play basement parties for the duration of the project.  Or maybe a rare Tuesday "show" in front of six people.

I'm contempt with playing basements or in front of six people. Its about the music for me not money or acknowledgment. If there's any talent it will speak for itself in time.

Ah yeah, your powers of perception are on par with a fencepost. I was trying to help you, if you look closely at the questions I asked it is information that should be in your posts looking for players. Looking at how you replied I can tell you have a tude to no end.

Yeah its you because your posts leave out too much information. You never said you were a drummer i just looked at your handle.

and just for fun I was planning to take over Wisconsin with my NEW brand of POLKA METAL........I`d be a GOD....... and that was like 7 years ago.

I have done that you fucktard. I have posted paragraphs of info on me. This was meant to be a bitch rant not a want ad. Polka metal sounds pretty interesting. I think you should explore it more. Its alot better than you thinking your the next nickelback with shitty vocals.

You and me both. Although mine is a music one and I'm not middle aged. Don't get me wrong I have tons of tastes in many different genres of music. Its just I'm sick of everyone trying to please everyone with their sound. I nowadays would rather listen to a shitty band that has their own sound going, than hear another metal or indie band that is ripping off bands that already did it 10 or more years ago. There needs to be more bands that say "fuck you if my music is not radio friendly or for the masses". Thats why the 90's bought on so much good music. Everyone had their own flavor no matter what others thought.

They played SCSU a few years back, I'm going to say '99 '00 and we hung with them at the bar and they kept asking us if we knew where we could get coke.  Buncha losers, we left.

I swore if the "Edge" played that song one more time I was going to start taking hostages.

The next day they went off the air.

Hostage crisis averted.

If it makes you feel better, Tainted, this guy called Rost and me "Uptown college snobs who like to suck each other's cocks" which is ironic since I'm an old, married father of two and Rost hardly ever takes it up the raisin anymore.

It's tough to imagine this guy is for real.  If he is, then justanotherdrummer, the reason nobody wants to jam with you is because you are a douchebag.  I know other douchebags that are talented, and nobody wants to play with them either.....mostly because they're really douchey.

How the hell am I able to trick people into playing with me?  I'm not talented and I'm a douchebag.

Interesting. Self-deprication Coop. I was going with "Well Toph, you talked a couple of talented dudes into playing with a douche. So that kind of blows that whole theory"

I was debating which way to go with it.  I almost went with a very similar post to yours.

1.  It really sucks when you cannot deny the obvious

2. It doesn't feel right if I don't get burned at LEAST once a day

3. Coop, I think Lex is right.  It's your fine manass that gets you gigs.......both of our drummers past have said so.
