I have a feeling that they were tired of getting homered by the refs and wanted to move the series back to MN.

You can bet tomorrow night is going to be a digfight.

Wow, glad to know that when I woke up today, that was just a bad dream. Playoff hockey can't be that one-sided, can it? Indifferent

Absolutely abysmall! Look at this stat:

"The Wild has been outscored 9-0 in the first two periods in the series, and has led a grand total of 4 minutes, 31 seconds out of a possible 264:23." (Star Trib)

I didn't think the refing could get worse than game 3. I was wrong. I understand they were trying to stop it from getting out of control, but you do that by calling it both ways. You actually feed the beast when you call it one way ALL NIGHT.

The more I watch Hill play, the less I like him and the more I wonder why we didnt have Nummelin skating all season.

I don't care how physical he is, Voros needs to take a seat. He is way too undisciplined. I think we would have a better chance to win with Pouliot in the game.

...and who pissed in Veilleux's cornflakes yesterday? Although the 3 minute "GFAW" towards McCleod from the penalty box was pretty damn funny.

Thursday prediction: jacques skates the team hard today and the Wild respond by putting the hurt on Colorado, but not as bad as they did on us; 4-1 Wild

I'd rather see Foy than Pouliot right now, dude........

Courtesy of Russo at the Strib:

Erik Reitz, 25, will make his playoff debut tonight, Lemaire said for Petteri Nummelin. But he didn’t say Nummelin wouldn’t play for sure.
Could Nummelin be moved to wing for one of the tough guys and Sean Hill be scratched? Don’t know. Lemaire indicated that there may be forward changes, so maybe its Benoit Pouliot. Regardless, Reitz, who hasn’t played in the NHL this year, will play his first game since March 9.

Babcock is starting Osgood in game 5.

I'm sweatin' a little. Don't like goalie changes in the playoffs. As Babcock said, 'this is plan B'. Obviously, Hasek was letting in soft goals the last 2 games. Wasn't looking like he was playing injured. Just looked like he was having those Hasek mental moments. At his age, they appear to be really frequent. Osgood's moment. Let's see if he can maintain.

Wings are giving it up too much in the neutral zone. They're getting pressure and good looks/shots; but they aren't handling the attack of the preds very well.

No  Damn.

Looks like the Wild fit in nicely with the Wolves and Vikings.

They take you far enough that you dare to hope.  Then they rip out your heart.

I know hindsight is 20/20, but man... I am sure glad we "beefed" up this year and didn't get a guy who could score.

I'm sure glad Gabby scored all those points in the regular season.

The 2008 Jose Theodore ≤ the 2003 J.S. Giguere as far as I'm concerned. My god! Somebody get Jeff Gillooly on the horn pronto.

Theodore is playing out of his mind in this series but let's not forget

that the Avs also have the defensive players to keep us from crashing

the net for those rebounds. They seem to have 3 players cemented in

front of him at all times. Us on the other hand.... well...... :(

So the band in question is Heart?

Disclaimer: I love Ann Wilson, but she IS huge.

Great timing for the Wild to go through one of their patented "couldn't score if their lives depended on it" stretches.  It proves though that great goaltending will get you further in the playoffs than anything else.

I was thinking more along the lines of The Mamas and the Papas (pre-ham sandwich of course).

Your example is less macabre and the music is better.

Let's go with yours.
