We have lost some great bands in the last few years, I was curious what bands everyone miss the most.

For me it has to be, in no order,

R-Evolution. Got that shit rockin' in my stereo right now.....what a fuckin' great band. It was fun to play with those guys and be in the band for a bit. But I really miss seeing them.

Banehinge. I know I play with 2/5 of the band, but I miss when they go into Lemmings......good shit.

Revelence. Man they were great...and getting better....then poof they are gone.

Esuna. But Jeremy is singing with me now so there ya go.

Section Hate. Where are they now? Fuckin' A.

That is all I can think of now......aside from Downside Of Truth....but I love my new band....so I am happy.

Your turn Pantsinator! heh heh

Ditto to both!  I only saw She Might Be A Spy a few times, but they were great to watch live, so much energy!

12 Rods (especially in the nineties when they were still a 4 piece w/ McGuire on drums)

Houston

Jamie Smith Band (when Grady was playing with them)

Wick (one of my own - not because I thought we were so great but rather because it's one of the funnest bands I've ever been in)

Gummy (based out of Fargo/Moorhead but still counts)

Me Grimlock no bozo. Me king!

Ha!  I was just gonna post something like, "Houston.  Not even close."  Too bad I'm not funny this morning.

Here's another vote for The Heed and the ORIGINAL line-up of Banehinge. (Dave, Josh, Chad, Chad & Wog.) That line-up had all kinds of snazz. The later line-ups lost that.

And to throw an unmentioned-as-of-yet band out there...

Octopus Harem. Still listen to the "Popsicle" record all the time. I'd drum for them in a heaertbeat.

Run Westy Run was a fantastic band.  They were the guys to know and the band to open for in this town for years.  I remember opening for them at the Uptown on a Friday and then Smashing Pumpkins opened for them that Saturday.

Trip Shakespeare was decent, I spent a lot of time in highschool/junior high seeing them.

Husker Du/ The Replacements/ Soul Asylum (when Grant was drumming)/ Babes in Toyland

The Jayhawks when Mark Olsen was the frontman, incredible.

Gneissmaker when the eccentric artist (the shorter guy) was the frontman.

Dogshine (when Mike was the frontman)

I liked A Bomb Nation

I miss all the bands except the ones that Lanth was in because he faked his guitar playing... his amp's light was on but the volume was all the way down.  Milly Lanth Vanilly!!!!! AHHAHAHAHAH

Thanks for the comment Hater.
