A recent New York Times piece by our favoritely-named travel writer -- Sunshine Flint -- notes that Minneapolis isn't just a growing cultural center, but it's also a simmering hotspot for fine food. Most laudable restaurants focus on wholesome, fresh, and regional ingredients, and relatively simple preparations. This isn't bleeding-edge culinary experimentation, but rather a base for solid New American cooking. After the jump, we have Flint's recommendations and a few additions of our own.
