Northwest Airlines will today supposedly resume flights to and from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Two daily flights from Memphis are scheduled for now, with flights to and from Detroit and Minneapolis/St. Paul to begin September 19. Of course, Northwest is also threatening to hire scabs today to replace striking mechanics, so they got a lot on their mind. But in case you're interested, there are plenty of seats available all day, though the fares are a tad high at just under $500 one way.
