When will Arctic Monkeys get to do their own James Bond title theme? For the UK rockers, the world-- or at least, a live DVD-- is not enough. Purchasers of the forthcoming Arctic Monkeys at the Apollo: Special Limited Edition DVD Box Set will receive, alongside other goodies, a vinyl copy of a live performance recorded in Texas in 2006. By the time of the 2007 tour, from which the Apollo video was taken, the band's setlist was already accommodating material from the commendable Favourite Worst Nightmare, so fans who want to hear a taut, fast-paced live version of Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not/Who the Are Arctic Monkeys? EP evening-starter "The View From the Afternoon" will have to turn to the Texas LP. Or head to the Arctics' website and hand over an e-mail address.
