Here's a one-off video from Daytrotter, featuring Kevin Barnes and bandmate Bryan Poole (aka the Late B.P. Helium) doing an acoustic performance of "Du Og Meg" from last year's Icons, Abstract Thee EP. Barnes is camouflaged in blue zebra-print; if this clip were in black and white, he would fade right into the matching backdrop. Poole-- looking half David Byrne, half Nick Cave in a wide-collared safari suit and bleached hair-- introduces the track "about a boy and a girl". Might be safe to assume that boy is sitting in the studio with him. Just something to tide us over until Skeletal Lamping hits stores on October 23, a few weeks later than originally scheduled.
