Fans and skeptics alike both found the set by Jason Pierce's Spiritualized to be transporting. Take the intense sunlight, his shades, the slide guitar, the unhurried tempo, and the backup vocals, and somehow it all added up to something sublime. You wanted to wallow in this stuff. Here they were on "Shine a Light".

Jersey boys Titus Andronicus may well have given the best interview of the weekend (this is why it's good to know your limits, kids) but they also came through where it counted. Here they are on their kiss-off anthem "Fear and Loathing in Mahwah, New Jersey".
