First U.S. Bank Stadium concert announced for 2018 is … Ed Sheeran

The singing/rapping woodland creature from the U.K. will arrive in Minneapolis on October 20 of next year. He visited St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center this past July; there were marriage proposals galore

Pre-sale tickets to see Sheeran in Minnesota go on sale October 16; the general sale begins October 20. No word yet on prices, but a U.S. Bank Stadium PR rep says they’ll be made available later this week.

The relentlessly popular Sheeran, 26, is touring in support of March’s ÷, his mega-selling third album. Click here to explore his relentless competence and soft sensuality, qualities that will aid him in destroying us all, according to City Pages.

In 2017, U.S. Bank Stadium hosted Guns N’ Roses, Coldplay, and U2. Bieber bailed. Here’s hoping a woman or P.O.C. gets booked to play our tax-funded football monolith in 2018.
